Does anyone know how I'm getting views and likes on partial stories which I haven't published? I'm writing a few short stories for spooktober and some people seem to read incomplete drafts before I've published (and I can't see them appearing in the stories section)

How many? Lol there should be two visible and a third not.

I posted Fairy Shoes this morning as final, but had been in draft for a day or two before that and had got about 60 views and a like from someone, before I published it. I hope that makes sense. I assumed they were invisible to everyone under draft. But I might be wrong

At this time, I only see two stories. If I see anything else, I will let you know.

Every time you add a story or a chapter to the site itself it is published.There are many stories on here that are ongoing projects.The only way you can post a complete story is to write it completely & then add it to the site.That is the ONLY way I know of to keep someone from seeing a story before it is complete.

The story views on your unpublished story, will be when you have gone into the story yourself. to view it and make changes.

I have just checked your story section (via your profile) and I can confirm there are no likes on your unpublished story. But as I have viewed the story via your profile it now shows 20 views.

Nobody else can view your story until it has been published. At this point it will be live on the site, and added to the story listing / gallery pages.

Thanks for your advice, c00kie. The issue happened with Fairy Shoes, not the current hidden one. I'll not worry too much, as you say this current one in draft doesn't have any mysterious interactions so far, might have been my error 😊
